When you sign up for businesschat you'll be required to provide some or all of the following documentation / information:

Natural person (Individual):

• Your green bar coded ID book (unfortunately, no drivers licence cards are accepted)
• Proof of your physical or postal address (an account posted to you and depicting your postal or residential address)
• Your latest payslip (Minimum salary required: R5 000)
• Your latest 3 months bank statements
• Additional documents may be requested by credit vetting department when required.
• A debit order is a mandatory requirement.

In store you will:

• Sign a subscriber agreement
• Debit order authorization form

Corporate client:

• Corporate criteria applies to any applicant who is not a natural person (CC's, SME's Sole Proprietors, Trusts etc.) There are two categories of Corporate Clients;
• those clients come to us via the dealer / franchise channel and
• those close corporations who come to us via the Corporate Sales Division

Dealer & Franchise channel clients: Sole Proprietors: Close Corporations and SME's:

• Subscriber agreement signed by authorised signatory
• Subscriber agreement clearly indicating packages, duration and VAS
• Registration documents of CC
• A recent processed cheque
• 2 Months bank statements reflecting the processed cheque
• Copies of ID of authorised signatories of bank account
• Purchase order on a letterhead or with a company stamp
• Purchase order to be signed by authorised signatory
• Purchase order clearly specifying packages and duration
• Debit Order is mandatory

Corporate Sales Division Clients:

• Subscriber agreement signed by authorised signatory
• Purchase order on a letterhead or with a company stamp
• Purchase order to be signed by authorised signatory
• Resolution to purchase
• Resolution authorising representative
• Registration documents of company
• Confirmation of banking details from bank
• No Bank Statements Required
