WINC, or Women Incorporated, is the first and only cellular package created just for women. Because you not only have a lot to do, you also have a lot to say. So now you can speak your heart out, connect, be heard, get advice and tune into your sisters when you really need them.

Benefits

R1.50 per minute, to any network, anytime
This means you pay only R1.50 per minute during peak and off-peak times across all networks nationwide, including landlines. Your tariff rate is defaulted to the all day rate, however with WINC, there are three different tariff options. You are able to choose the tariff which is best suited to you. To switch to a different tariff option, simply dial 141, listen, and follow the voice prompts. You have one free tariff change per month and will be charged a small fee for changes thereafter. 

  • WINC per second
    Calls are charged per second from the first second.
  • WINC standard
    Calls are charged per second after the first 60 seconds.
  • WINC all day (default tariff)
    Pay one flat rate no matter what time you call. Calls get charged per minute.

30 complimentary monthly SMS's
Receive 30 free SMSs when you reach a cumulative recharge value of R25 within a calendar month. You will qualify for this benefit once a month, and the SMSs must be used by the end of the month in which they are received, or they will be forfeited.

Ringback tone
At last, no more boring "ring-ring"! With ringback tones, you can entertain your callers with a cool track while they wait for you to answer. To activate your ringback tone, dial *133*333# from your cellphone and follow the prompts.

Free calls to LifeLine
You can call LifeLine anytime, free of charge. LifeLine offers confidential, emotional counseling for gender violence, rape or any other issues in your life. Call them on 0800 150 150.

Daily exclusive tips and advice
You have access to www.winc.mobi from your cellphone (at no cost) and www.winc.co.za from your PC. As a customer, you get your very own, exclusive mobi site and website that offer news on health-related topics, assistance on financial matters and lots more. Plus, you don't pay any browsing charges on www.winc.mobi.

1% of revenue donated to Women in Confidence fund
From the revenue generated from calls made by subscribers, 1% will be donated to this fund and any other relevant female causes.

Complimentary 'fun messages'
WINC brings you "Fun Messages", an SMS service where you can choose from Love, Flirt, Cute or Uthando (Zulu) messages to forward to those special people in your life!

The great news is that you don't pay for the SMS request, and you can receive one complimentary message from each category every day! 

  • To get a Love message, SMS the word 'love' to 14585
  • To get a flirt message, SMS the word 'flirt' to 14585
  • To get a Cute message, SMS the word 'cute' to 14585
  • To get a Uthando message, SMS the word 'uthando' to 14585
 
Terms and conditions

  1. To get your cellphone number, simply insert your SIM card into your phone and your number will be SMS'd to you. Should you have any problems you can call Cell C's contact centre on 140 free of charge from your Cell C cellphone.
  2. Once your SIM card has been registered (RICA), you can enter your PIN number into the cellphone and your gospellife starter SIM pack is connected! Your first outgoing call will activate the Cell C Network access timer and will allow you to make and receive calls and SMS's.
  3. All calls or SMS's made and any other access charges will be charged in accordance with the rates detailed in clause 4.1 below and WINC rates available from time to time on www.cellc.co.za.
  4. By purchasing and activating your WINC SIM card and complying with the provisions of clauses 1, 2 and 4, you qualify for the following:
    • A flat rate of R1.50 (one rand and fifty cents) per minute on all voice calls made to all networks, including landlines, any time peak or off-peak. Save for clause 4.2 below, should you migrate to the per second tariff option, you shall still be eligible for all WINC benefits;
    • A maximum of 30 (thirty) free SMS's per calendar month when you recharge with an amount of R25.00 (twenty-five rand) ("the free SMS's"). In this regard it is expressly noted that:
      1. Physical, virtual and electronic funds transfer (EFT) recharges that accumulate to R25.00 (twenty-five rand) or above made in 1(one) calendar month will qualify;
      2. The free SMS's will be loaded within 24 (twenty-four) hours that the recharge amount of R25.00 (twenty-five rand) has been reached;
      3. You must utilise the free SMS's within the month that you receive it, failing which you shall forfeit any unused free SMS's in the following month(s); and
      4. Recharges exceeding R25.00 (twenty-five rand) shall not entitle you to additional free SMS's. The free SMS's shall only be awarded to you once every calendar month should the provisions of clause 4.2 be met.
    • Toll-free calls to LifeLine: 0800 150 150 and
    • Upon successfully completing the registration process, exclusive access to the WINC WAP site, www.winc.mobi.
  5. Cell C shall donate 1 (one)% of the net annual revenue generated from calls made by WINC subscribers to 'Women in Confidence' and/or any other relevant female causes that Cell C in its sole and absolute discretion elects to donate to ("the donation"). Cell C reserves the right to revoke, replace, vary or amend the donation at any point in its sole and absolute discretion.
  6. In order to download content, cellphones have to be content-compatible and WAP-enabled.
  7. Cell C is under no obligation to render any account in respect of the usage of credit values and/or the period of access to the network or any other information in respect of call records and/or recharges.
  8. Cell C makes no guarantee, warranty or representation howsoever in relation to the WINC SIM pack, SIM card, any recharge vouchers or the Cell C Network.
  9. Cell C reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change any of the time periods referred to herein.
  10. If required, as a result of changes in legislation, or for any other reason, Cell C shall have the right to terminate this WINC starter SIM pack immediately and without notice to you. In the event of such termination, you agree to waive any rights that you may have in terms of this promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Cell C, its directors, agents, employees and promoters.
  11. Cell C shall be entitled to vary, replace or revoke the benefits of the WINC starter SIM pack in its sole and absolute discretion, without notice to you, and you shall be deemed to have accepted such amendments.
  12. Risk in and to any items contained in the WINC starter SIM pack, or any recharge vouchers shall pass on delivery, therefore Cell C shall have no liability for any item which is lost or stolen.
  13. Do not accept any recharge voucher if the seal has been broken or tampered with.
  14. Report to the police within 24 hours, and notify Cell C in the event of losing your SIM card and/or cellphone. A lost SIM card can be replaced by a SIM swop at applicable rates (cost will be on Cell C's website at www.cellc.co.za). To secure the same cell number, an ID document and the original certificate containing the SIM Card Registration Number and PIN number must be presented to an authorised dealer.
  15. Cell C reserves the right to suspend the WINC service or any part thereof or to disconnect the SIM card from the Cell C Network in the event of any unlawful use of the WINC service or any unlawful or unauthorised tampering with or modification to the cellphone or SIM card.
  16. Any dispute relating to the Cell C Network or WINC service may be referred to the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA).
  17. To the extent permitted by legislation, Cell C reserves the right to contact you for marketing, promotional and other Cell C services.
  18. Whilst every effort has been made by Cell C and its suppliers of information to ensure the proper performance of every content service, Cell C, its affiliated companies, suppliers or any of their employees do not guarantee the availability of services, content and information offered. In particular we make no warranty that the content services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, complete, timely, secure or error free.
  19. We will only entertain request for exchanges, returns and/or refunds at our discretion. Errors will be billed in full.
  20. By using Cell C services you indemnify and hold us harmless against all and any loss, liability, actions, suites, proceedings, costs, demands and damages of all and every kind (including direct, indirect, special or consequential damages) and whether in action based on contract, negligence or any other action, arising out of or in connection with the failure or delay in the performance of content services offered or the use of said services.
  21. The purchase of WINC starter SIM pack and/or the use of any recharge vouchers constitutes acceptance of these terms & conditions.
